How could you not fall in love with this sweet, adorable, loving Teddy Bear Gerrety?
Paul and I just can't resist spoiling our sweet dog, that we've so lovingly (and appropriately) named Teddy Bear. But, as you may tell by the title of this entry we also (on occasion) call him Teddy Buttons. This past weekend was one of those occasions:
A few months ago Paul put on one of his work shirts that he laid out on the bed and found that one of the buttons was missing. He didn't really think too much of it until it happened 2 more times within a couple of weeks. At first we thought that the washing machine was eating the buttons, but then we caught Teddy Bear red handed chowing down on one of his shirt sleeves.
Since then we've learned that we can't leave anything out that has buttons on it or Teddy Bear will inevitably find the buttons and figure out a way to remove them. We're usually pretty good at remembering but Paul had a super busy week last week and on Friday night he got home and immediately got out of his work clothes - leaving his jacket on the bed. The above pictures show actual proof of the havoc our sweet Teddy Buttons wreaks on anything with buttons, especially an expensive suit. At least he has really good taste :)

Our First House & A Celebratory Dinner
This post is a little late, but I guess it's better late than never.
Paul and I closed on our house back on December 22nd, so we've officially been home owners for 18 days (I think I did the math right), and being the picture crazy person that I am I got a few shots of us holding the keys to our new home:

As you can see from Paul's picture he was so very excited for me to capture the moment - hee, hee
These are a few pictures we got of the house before anything was moved in. I only got pictures of the living room, dining room & 1 of the guest bedrooms so I'll post more pictures as the house gets organized.
I can't tell you how great it felt to walk in for the first time after we closed and know that it was our home. Even without any of our furniture it still felt like it was ours.
We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our new home than dinner out at Columbia in St Augustine, so that's what we did:

New Year's Eve Wedding
I absolutely cannot believe that it's already 2012 - time sure does fly!!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season.
This year we had a really fun New Year's Eve that included an afternoon wedding, an early dinner reception and we rang in the new year with a get together with a few close friends. More about the evening festivities later but for now here's a picture of me and the blushing bride. I was her matron of honor - which by the way makes me sound way older than I am :)
P.S. I love my dress and will totally wear it again in the future - you gotta love that!!!
I'll also be posting an update on the new house which has in just a few short weeks already become our cozy little home. Paul and I could not thank my parents (and my sweet sister) enough for taking the time to drive over from Gulf Breeze to help us on Christmas weekend.
Anywho, enough from me for now.
Happy Thursday!!!
